Day 1 (Sat) Amsterdam - Waterland Arrival in Amsterdam. Embarkation in Ams-terdam (centre) at the “Nautisch Kwartier“ near the Central Station of Amsterdam. Explore downtown Amsterdam : time for shopping, to visit a museum or to make a canal tour: this is an unique way to see the capital of Holland from another side.

Day 2 (Sun)

Amsterdam – Weesp – Maarssen – Utrecht – Vianen

From Nigtevecht along the beautiful small river Vecht. Along the way you can visit a traditional cheese farm or you can make a visit to the Gardens of the castle “Castle Haarzuilen”. During the cycle tour you will see very nice villas, cottages and small cas-tles. Along the river into the centre of Utrecht with is Dom-tower, 111m high. In the afternoon we go by boat to Vianen of Nieuwegein.

Day 3 (Mon)

Vianen (Nieuwegein) – Gouda – Schoonhoven

Cycling we visit the famous cheese-city Gouda, with its very old town centre and the cheese market. You can make a short town walk. After that we go to the most southern part of the province South-Holland, the famous silver city Schoonhoven at the river Lek.

Day 4 (Tue)

Schoonhoven – Kinderdijk – Rotterdam – Delft

With the ship from Gouda to Krimpen aan de Lek or optional bike tour already from Gouda. Visit Kinderdijk (Unesco-world cul-ture inheritance) with 19 windmills in one line. In the afternoon we will bring a visit to worldharbour Rotterdam and the historical city Delft. It is possible to visit the “Royal Delft” Delftware factories.

Day 5 (Wed)

Delft – Den Haag – Scheveningen – Leiden

In the morning we left Delft and by boat we will make a visit to The Hague, residence of the Queen and Parliament, after that to the North sea resort Scheveningen. Thru the fantastic dune landscape we cycle to Lei-den.

Day 6 (Thu)

Leiden - Haarlem ca. 55 km

Round trip from Haarlem through the dune landscape to Zandvoort or Bloemendaal, then along the North Sea coast and through the inland and back to the historical city Haarlem.

Day 7 (Fri)

Haarlem – „Zaanse Schans“ - Amsterdam

Cycling to the North along the river ”Spaarne” we will reach the North Sea channel with the tourist place “Spaarnwoude“. Cycling to the polder landscape we will bring a visit to the open air museum „Zaanse Schans", with its traditional wooden houses, windmills, cheese and wooden shoe “clog” manufacturing. Continue through the recreational area “Twiske” to Amsterdam.

Day 8 (Sat)

Amsterdam

After breakfast: disembarkation and end of the tour after 10:00 clock. If you don’t make an canal tour the first day, it is possi-ble to do this in the early morning, there is also time for some shopping.
