Iris
Iris - Description
The Iris has been launched late March 2005. The Iris is converted cargo barge. The three owners Jossie Verkerk, Ton Boere and Reint Dragt have - once more - put all their knowledge and experience into the design of this luxurious and spacious barge. The Iris is more spacious than the "earlier" projects, the barges Allure and Fleur, but certainly has the same homelike atmosphere. The barge has airconditioning in all rooms on board (incl. all 12 twin cabins).
The Iris has Jossie Verkerk as female captain and manager. She has won her spurs and made many friends while organizing bike & barge vacations in Holland and France over the past 10 years. Jossie is an all-round professional who will do everything, together with her crew, to exceed your expectations.
In 2006, the IRIS will offer bike and barge tours from Amsterdam to Bruges - Belgium - (1 week) and Bruges - Amsterdam (1 week): Comprehensive information and possibilities for booking per cabin on request.
